2021 Watkins Glen Vintage Grand Prix

Time for a look back at the Watkins Glen Vintage Grand Prix weekend (September 9-12, 2021). Here’s a few photos from the Grand Prix Festival in town on Friday and SVRA vintage event up at the track. Enjoy!

TJ….2021

Emerson Fittipaldi’s 1975 McLaren M23-9. Front and center at the International Motor Racing Research Center (IMRRC).
The legendary Brian Redman, Watkins Glen Grand Prix Festival Grand Marshal, led the field around the original course in one of his former race cars…the beautiful 1972 Ferrari 312 PB.
Me and the boys from Rochester. Due to the COVID-19 lockdown it had been since the 2019 event that we could finally get together again. A good time was had by all! 😉
Two legends! Behold a 1933 Alfa Romeo 2600 Monza and 1935 Alfa Romeo 8C-35.
I came across this beauty during a late-night stroll through the Kendall Garage. 1971 Leda LT25 (Chassis 1).
A racing weekend at The Glen wouldn’t be complete without visiting the Seneca Lodge Restaurant and Tavern Room. Cheers!
