SVRA Heacock Classic “Gold Cup” Historic Races @ VIR

The SVRA Heacock Classic “Gold Cup” Historic Races at Virginia International Raceway, September 22-24, had everything…sun, fun, and heat…with plenty of great road racing thrown in. I had to check the calendar a few times because it sure didn’t feel like the traditional, late September weather I remember experiencing in southern Virginia. Trust me, no one was complaining. Everyone assumed this was the last blast of great weather before fall and winter roll in. The racers took full advantage.

The articles for Victory Lane Magazine and the SVRA Quarterly Magazine have been written and submitted. October has been an extremely busy month, so I’m just getting to post a few pictures. My favorite place to hang out at VIR is at Oak Tree, turn 12. Here are a few pictures from that location. Enjoy….TJ
