We’re halfway through 2026, and the calendar has flipped to July. In the spirit of a new beginning, I thought it was a perfect time for the blog to turn the page and head in a new direction.

I’ll still be writing about my exploits at the racetrack and all things auto racing, but will also be expanding the focus to include stories and recollections from throughout my life, travelogues, and the occasional work of fiction.

I’m excited to get started. There’s so much to share. But where to begin? I suppose the best course of action is to take the advice of the great Yogi Berra, who once said, “When you come to a fork in the road, take it.”

So, I will.
